Mennatallah El-Assady

Graduate Student – PhD

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Konstanz, Germany. My doctoral studies are co-supervised by Dr. Christopher Collins and Dr. Daniel Keim.

My general research interest is in combining data mining and machine learning techniques with visual analytics to analyze text data.  In particular, I am working on the automatic analysis and visualization of transcribed spoken text data.

In the context of the VisArgue Project, I am currently developing a visual analytics framework to analyze conversations and political debates.
